3 Italia digital mobile TV service uses Oberthur Card Systems' dvb-h technology


Last year 3 Italia, the Italian Mobile Media Company of the Hutchison Whampoa Group, was the first European operator to commercially deploy its DVB-H[1] Mobile TV service. Oberthur Card Systems was one of the few 3 Italia suppliers selected to provide DVB-H USIM cards.

This cooperation between the two companies rewards Oberthur Card Systems’ continuous drive for innovation and its determination to promote DVB-H technology.
